Franklin Cooperative Ministry

Description:

Franklin Cooperative Ministry provides a clothing and hygiene closet, limited rental and utility assistance, and limited prescription assistance for residents of Franklin, Southampton County, and a small bordering portion of Isle of Wight County (south of Route 460). You must make an appointment and provide a photo ID, proof of residency, and proof of income for everyone in the household.

Intake Process:

completion of one-page application, photo ID and verification of residence

verification of expense, need/emergency, and all income for everyone living at the address

interview (for financial assistance)

Languages:

English is spoken by the staff. There is no restriction on the language of the clients.

Eligibility:

Clients must be residents of the City of Franklin, Southampton County, and the border communities of Isle of Wight County.
