Description:

Variety of programs that serve the homeless and less fortunate in the Hampton Roads community, including a full list of regularly occurring programs, as well as special programs offered throughout the year.

Day Center
--- The Day Center provides a safe shelter for the community we serve to take care of their most essential needs. Guests can get showers, sandwiches, coffee, and other snacks.

Food Pantry
--- Our food pantry provides households with enough food for up to three days. We take into consideration restrictions clients may have on what they can eat or prepare.

Transitional Housing
---A 6-month transitional housing program for single, homeless, adult males and females provides clients with the opportunity to get back on their feet.

Special Programs
---Easter Baskets, School Supplies, Thanksgiving Baskets, Christmas Baskets. For Christmas, we provide food similar to Thanksgiving, but also coordinate a gift program. Join our mission to help others.

Next Step Transitional Housing

--- New clients must be referred through the Housing Crisis Hotline: 757-587-4202.
--- Current clients can contact their case manager Monday-Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
--- Current clients use emergency contact for after hours emergencies only.
