Description:
Jewish Family Services counseling and adoption program is an Out-patient Counseling Service for children, teens, adults and the seniors. The service is provided with insurance coverage or for those with out insurance on a sliding scale. For pregnant women and families considering adoption services are provided to prepare for the decision and subsequent placement.
Intake Process:
Clients seeking services should call to speak with an intake worker who will assess the clients needs and refer them as is appropriate.
Program Fees:
Based on the client's insurance coverage or for the uninsured the program is on a sliding scale based on the client's income and ability to pay.
Languages:
English is spoken among the staff. There is no restriction on the language of the client.
Eligibility:
Resident of Hampton roads seeking counseling services or in need of assistance in adopting or allowing a child to be adopted.
