Educational Childcare
The Children!€™s Center is a nonprofit offering offer top-quality, affordable childcare that includes all meals. Ages six weeks to five years. Highly qualified staff, Virginia Quality participant! Also offering behavior support services, early intervention and pediatric therapy on-site, summer camp.

Early Head Start
Through Early Head Start, the Children!€™s Center provides family-centered services to low-income pregnant women and families with children under the age of three. From home-based services to center-based childcare that!€™s full or part-time. Low ratios, experienced teachers, transportation often provided.

Head Start
Through Head Start, the Children!€™s Center provides family-centered services to low-income families with children ages 3 to 5. Studies of the Head Start programs found that Head Start increases educational achievement, also assisting parents in making progress toward their educational, literacy, and employment goals.

Early Intervention & Pediatric Therapy
Our Early Intervention and Pediatric Therapy offer coordinated services to infants and toddlers through age 21, focused on those who have developmental delays and disabilities. Some services offered through early intervention are at no cost to the family.

SAFE Group
The SAFE (Support and Family Education) Program is an educational and support group developed for individuals dealing with mental health challenges, as well as families and others who care about someone living with mental illness.

Grief Support Group
The Children!€™s Center offers a grief support group for parents experiencing the death of a child. Understanding parental grief is unique, the group meets to share stories, share resources, say their child!€™s name where others understand, and outreach to others in the community. The group sponsors several community activities throughout the year, including an annual candlelight service, pot-luck dinners, and special events. The group also supports individual visits with families who need one-on-one time.
