FOTE - Friends of the Elderly

Description:

FOTE Outreach & Community Development Program's objective is to bring lower-income families, and individuals to a point of self-sufficiency.
We will assist our clients and program participants by servicing their physical, mental health, employment, educational, vocational, social and spiritual needs.
We will teach them how to empower themselves, by giving them the tools necessary to become self - sufficient and to be prepared to accept the responsibility of independent living.
We will help our clients find the assistance that they need to build a stable living environment for a brighter tomorrow.
We also assist Grandparents who are raising their grandchildren in their homes through our referral service program. Through our elderly services program, we help assist our elderly clientele who are living alone with no other assistance and solely depend on social security income. Referrals may be given to help with housing inspections, maintenance and household needs and companionship.
